Ndlovu demands quick response after points dropped

Scottland FC team manager Peter Ndlovu has said the mark of a strong side is how it responds after dropping points, pointing to the importance of bouncing back with a win in the next match.

He insisted the club is not underestimating any opponent, adding that preparations remain consistent and well structured.

“A big team is when they draw the last game and what they do in the next one, which is a win,” he said.

“We’re not trying to undermine anybody, but our preparations are always good. The coach is always on point. It’s details and details and details so that the players can execute the job on hand.”

He added that his mindset remains rooted in a winning mentality, describing himself as someone driven to succeed and determined to see the club competing at the highest level.

“I want to win. I’m a winner. I was born a winner, so I think so. So everything should come up on top for me.”

The 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League continues with Matchday Eight fixtures, with attention turning to a key upcoming clash involving Scottland and Dynamos.

The Mabvuku-based side are aiming to return to winning ways after being held to a draw by Bulawayo Chiefs in their previous outing.

Dynamos also head into the fixture looking to sharpen up after a draw with FC Platinum, with both sides carrying similar recent form records of three wins and two draws from their last five matches.
