Kelvin Kaindu is set to be unveiled as the new head coach of Castle Lager Premier Soccer League newcomers Hardrock FC after Dynamos failed to retain the Zambian’s services.
Kaindu joined the Glamour Boys in August on a short-term deal and enjoyed a remarkable spell, steering the Harare giants away from relegation danger while also guiding them to Chibuku Super Cup glory.
His contract expires at the end of the month, bringing to a close an impressive, unbeaten run that saw Dynamos register six wins and five draws in league play, along with five victories in knockout matches. In total, Kaindu departs having gone 16 matches without defeat.
Hardrock FC moved quickly to secure his signature with a lucrative offer, leaving Dynamos unable to keep hold of the highly rated coach ahead of the new season.
Kaindu replaces Luke Masomere, who led Hardrock FC to promotion into the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
