Champions Scottland part ways with CEO

Castle Lager Premier League champions Scottland FC and CEO Ronald Moyo have mutually agreed to part ways.

The former Highlanders FC chief executive is already attracting interest from two Premiership clubs, while his name is also being mentioned in ZIFA circles as a possible successor to former CEO Yvonne Manwa.

Moyo leaves the club after just one year, having joined the Mabvuku side in January 2025 when the club was preparing for their maiden participation in the Premier Soccer League.

Under his leadership, Mabviravira went on to lift the title in a historic feat last achieved by Black Rhinos in 1984.

“Scottland FC would like to inform its stakeholders that the club and chief executive officer, Ronald Moyo, have amicably parted ways.

“The club extends its sincere gratitude to Ronald Moyo for his commitment, leadership, and the time he dedicated to Scottland FC. His efforts and contribution to the club are truly appreciated.

“Scottland FC wishes him nothing but success and fulfilment in his future endeavours,” the club said in a statement.
